Asus revealed the Rog Strix ACE XG248QSG monitor during Computex 2025 in Taipei, aimed at the professional eSports audience. The model reaches an update rate of up to 610 Hz in overclock mode, over 600 Hz that competitors recently announced. As a result, the 24.1 -inch panel uses Super TN technology and has Full HD resolution (1920 × 1080), with a response time of 0.1 millisecond.

Asus states that the new Super TN offers brightness and colors improvements, plus 90% of the DCI-P3 range coverage. This is because this type of panel usually has views of vision and color fidelity lower than IPS, VA and OLED standards. In addition, Rog Strix ACE XG248QSG has support for AMD Freesync Premium and Nvidia G-Sync, as well as GameFast technology, which promises reduced latency of up to 0.8 ms.
Asus bets on extreme performance on Rog Strix
Thus, the model seeks to meet the requirements of competitive players, which prioritize graphic performance and ultra -rarefilled response. For this, ASUS included ELMB 2 technology with double background system. Thus, this solution aims to minimize smudges in quick scenes, something recurring in traditional panels. However, the panel is not yet equal to the visual quality of monitors with OLED or QD-OLED.

Monitor design is more discreet than usual in Rog line products without apparent RGB elements. The model has height adjustment (up to 160 mm), slope between -5 and +35 degrees and rotation of up to 45 degrees. The base offers HDMI 2.1 (two ports), Displayport 1.4 connections, headset input and an exclusive USB-C port for firmware updates.
In addition, Asus has integrated additional resources such as dynamic shadow improvement, intelligent target, and AI -support visual adjustments. These features help reading complex and fast environments, especially in competitive FPS matches.
