This is the best-bang-for-the-buck machine. Mine looks like it will last many years to come.

We bought two laptops: a Teo Netbook on 5/17/2010, and a Terra HD Netbook on 7/18/2010. Both have been inexpensive, easy to use, maintain, and keep updated with the latest software versions. As netbooks, they're convenient for travel -- and I love the Linux OS because I can "get under the hood" when I need to. Thanks for the testing you did to make sure Ubuntu Linux would run well on the hardware.

Limbo 7110--by far the best bang for the buck ever in my experience, at work or personal use. Unpacked, booted, running perfectly, and online, all inside 15 minutes. Very sturdy frame and quality components, with plenty of space and ample power supply for expansion if needed. Perfectly tuned Ubuntu 11.04 working precisely as expected, without balking at any device presented to it. There is no doubt this is the most flexible and expandable machine and software combination I've ever used.

ZaReason has always provided quality merchandise at decent prices and very fast turnaround. (Well, unless I was warned ahead of time that it was out of stock.)

The only problems that I've ever had was ordering the wrong equipment. (I ended up giving one of the laptops I ordered to my wife, because my fingers were too large. I didn't investigate returning it, though, so no complaint.)

I strongly prefer ordering computers that come with Linux already installed.

P.S.: This review is not for any specific hardware currently being sold, as my purchases are no longer sold. The still work, though.

Just got a Limbo 6k to replace an 11 year old HP P4 that I was running Ubuntu on. (The MB finally croaked.)
This machine is a screamer. Love it.
My son particularly enjoys it because he uses LMMS a lot and uses the digital movie maker to make video clips of the music he creates. What took a couple hours on the HP takes mere minutes or seconds on the Limbo.
I may have to buy him a Zareason laptop when he goes off to college.

Got a Limbo 6K for for my folks- both non computer people in their late 60's. The machine is a beast- boots up quickly and has a lot of horsepower under the hood-- the Ubuntu desktop is a good interface-- I gave my folks about a 10 minute crash course on how to find and install software and the how the file system works and they were good to go...
